Male Fertility Blood Test & Testes Scan Package
From £225.00 (blood test only)
This test or package is designed for men who want to understand and assess their fertility health, whether you’re planning a pregnancy, experiencing difficulties conceiving, or simply want reassurance.
The blood tests measure key hormones involved in sperm production and reproductive health, helping to identify potential hormonal imbalances that may affect fertility. The testes ultrasound scan complements this by providing a visual assessment of the testes, allowing structural or physical factors to be identified alongside the hormonal results. Together, this combined approach offers a clear and well-rounded overview of male fertility, helping to guide next steps and support informed decisions.

An albumin blood test measures the amount of albumin, a protein made by your liver, in your bloodstream. It is a key indicator of how well your liver and kidneys are functioning. A secondary symptom can be associated with Erectile Dysfunction.
The FSH (Follicle-Stimulating Hormone) test is primarily a measure of sperm production and testicular health
This blood test measures the level of free thyroxine (FT4) in your blood. This is a hormone made by your thyroid gland that helps to regulate your metabolism, energy and other important body functions.
TSH or Thyroid stimulating hormone is a hormone made by your pituitary gland that tells your thyroid how much hormone to produce. This blood test measures your TSH levels and helps to assess how well your thyroid is working.
In men, LH stimulates the hormone testosterone which affects sperm production. An LH test may be useful in evaluating male-factor infertility
A testosterone blood test measures the total and free (active) levels of the hormone in your blood to identify deficiencies or excesses.
Prolactin is a hormone produced by the pituitary gland. Testing prolactin levels can help evaluate infertility
Sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG) is a protein produced by the liver. It binds to steroids, such as testosterone and oestradiol and transports them around the body, in the blood.
The 17 Beta-Oestradiol (E2) test measures the small but essential amount of oestrogen produced primarily by the conversion of testosterone. Abnormal levels can disrupt sperm production and quality.
