Feb'15 – CQC Process: 17,731 UK private clients surveyed

Feb As part of registration obligations with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), Ultrasound Direct has conducted a non-incentivised survey of 17,731 pregnancy, women’s and men’s health private scan clients who were scanned between October 2014 and January 2015 with a view to find out how likely they are to recommend the Company’s services.

“With a very high response rate, excellent geographical correlation of results from the clinics and a very pleasing 96% positive outcome response, we are naturally very proud of this (private) customer survey. However, our immediate focus is on the 4% of clients who had issues with our service” commented co-founder Jan Steward. “The majority of these concerns were related to expectations of scanning time duration within a specified appointment time and we are already taking steps to clarify this safety related point on the website” Jan added.

Conducting regular client surveys that can be verified and audited by the (CQC) regulator is a pre-requisite for any professional health care provider. All of the survey outcomes for each business unit in the Ultrasound Direct network are available for CQC inspectors. The client database survey engine was developed as an integral part of Ultrasound Direct’s bespoke online clinical framework.
