Results from the company's second patient satisfaction survey (Q1 - 2014) have shown further increases in meeting patient's expectations.

Questions about "locations for the service", "explaining how results are delivered", "overall satisfaction and likelihood of recommending the service" all scored 100% for very satisfied and satisfied response.


Asked if their "healthcare professional introduced themselves", 99% of patients responded yes (if this seems a relatively unimportant question, read about Dr Kate Granger's #hellomynameis campaign).

Ultrasound Direct first deployed Non Obstetric Ultrasound Services (NOUS) in the Bedfordshire, Luton, Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland areas in July 2013 (see news article) and patient satisfaction surveys are seen as an essential part of QA and ongoing improvements.

The ultrasound direct model is being evaluated for scaling up to provide (AQP ultrasound) services across more regions in England.
