Check the scanning list for the day, then check the machine and all accessories are available and ready for use. Plan the day, making sure all patient details are entered on the system. Greet the patients and communicate and agree the remit for the scan, make sure the clients are satisfied with the scan and that all the requirements are fulfilled as outlined by the protocols for each scan. Ensure all paperwork is completed and equipment is cleaned as per guidelines.
