What does a typical day look like for you?
Every day is different which is what I love about the role. When I’m in clinic I work as a Clinical Assistant meeting clients, ensuring their scan runs smoothly, assisting the Sonographer as and when needed.When I’m on admin duties I visit all of our North East clinics ensuring all cleaning, checks, banking and other duties have been completed, carrying out weekly and monthly checks. I attend meetings and interact regularly with Senior Management to discuss ongoing changes or improvements to our services.
What do you look forward to when coming to work?
I love interacting with staff and clients alike, I love the variety of scans and services we offer and no two days are alike.I love the relationship I build with clients who visit us numerous times during their pregnancy. I love feeling part of such a special time in their life, being able to offer advice, support and reassurance in what can sometimes be a worrying time.
