We are a nationwide group of health care professionals and managers who started offering Babybond® pregnancy scans in 1998. Now, we employ more than 160 Sonographers scanning for Pregnancy, Women’s and Men’s health throughout the UK.
Ultrasound Direct was designed to meet your health needs with our our values - in other words, to offer you easy access to diagnostic ultrasound in your community with results on the day. To do this, we only employ the best health care professionals, provide a unique online search, choose and book feature and offer appointments at over 60 clinics.
We have always led in our field through award winning innovation, particularly in the areas of business and web development, many examples of which are in our

Mike Steward
Mike Steward, co-founder of Ultrasound Direct and Babybond® has more than 30 years experience in the technical and business development of ultrasound imaging and continues to innovate in developing online solutions for ultrasound applications.
Mike Piper
A former Director of 3i plc, Mike Piper has over 25 years experience in business development. He currently helps managing a private GP health care practice in the Midlands as well as assisting high growth companies in their development.
